UCundinamarca is negotiating with the Government for free tuition for 2021

Due to the ongoing global health emergency, the Senior Management of the University of Cundinamarca and the directors of the institution's extensions and branches, which are present in Facatativá, Soacha, Fusagasugá, Girardot, Ubaté, Zipaquirá, Chocontá and Chía, are requesting financial resources from the national, departmental and municipal governments to provide free tuition for their students, who number more than 13,000 in undergraduate programs.

Cundinamarca and Bogotá, where the most milk and its derivatives are produced

According to figures from October of this year provided by the National Institute for Drug and Food Surveillance (Invima), the areas of the country where the most milk is produced and its derivatives are manufactured are Cundinamarca, Bogotá, Arauca, Antioquia, Boyacá, Nariño, Santander and Valle del Cauca.

Professor María Nieves Ávila from the Faculty of Health Sciences of the Nursing Program presented the progress of an investigation called: Evaluation of Pesticide Exposure of Agricultural Workers Linked to Fruit and Vegetable Crops and Generation of Paradigmatic Changes in Food Production, Pesticide Use and Healthy Lifestyles in the Municipalities of the Sumapaz Province.
