TARGET AUDIENCEFaculty, researchers, students, and administrative staff from all campuses and extensions of the University of Cundinamarca are eligible. For books based on research results, authors must be active members of a university research group. Proposals for single-author, collective, or collaborative works with a maximum of seven (7) authors will be accepted. |
PRESENTATION CATEGORIES
- Books based on research results: Submissions must be original and unpublished. The content must be the result of a research process, and selection will be based on significant contributions to knowledge in the subject area and evidence of research. Selected books must meet the academic and methodological standards of the field. Clarity and effective presentation of research results, as well as their potential to have a significant impact on the academic community and society at large, will be considered.
- Training books: These publications, designed for teacher training, aim to compile relevant information related to the acquisition of knowledge, learning processes, and skills. They focus on providing resources and tools to facilitate training in technical, academic, or professional settings, and must have an educational purpose and be related to the pedagogy of a specific discipline or field of knowledge. These training books are expected to be useful and applicable for teachers, trainers, students, and professionals who wish to strengthen their pedagogical skills in a specific context.
- Creative writing books: These are works whose reading contributes to knowledge and critical thinking; they explore diverse aesthetic, ethical, sociocultural, and political contexts and imaginaries presented in fictional or plausible ways. They aim to provide an innovative and reflective perspective through the recreation of such contexts and imaginaries, enriching the understanding and appreciation of human diversity. They can encompass different genres, such as musical, narrative, poetic, theatrical, and other works, that serve the purpose of promoting knowledge and critical thinking.
