Fourth day of panel discussions: Facatativá extension

Working meetings were held with the extension faculty for the development of the Institutional Educational Project.

In compliance with the established schedule, the university's board of directors attended the Facatativá Extension to continue the series of discussion panels with the faculty, whose main objective is the collective construction of our University.

There, in the working tables and subsequent socialization, teaching needs and commitments have been expressed, among which it is worth highlighting faculty categorization, internationalization, business agreements, applied and formative research, among others, which emphasize the importance that the University must have in solving social, economic, and environmental problems of the Sabana Occidente region.

Facatativá currently has more than 3,000 young people within its extension, making it one of the cities with the highest student demand. Therefore, the commitment made by teachers and management is to work together to further promote the development of this student population and the surrounding community, seeking an institution that is more visible to society. “This is undoubtedly a very important step that helps foster a sense of belonging among all its teachers by feeling they are participants in the development of the University,” was the sentiment of many teachers during this session, which will hold its next meeting at the Chocontá extension on March 9.
