With the attendance of around 80 students from the San Mateo Educational Institution in grade 11, the UNIVERSITY FAIR was successfully held, organized directly by the institution in order to provide clear and timely information to each of its students about higher education.
The First International Meeting of Agricultural Sciences, "Applying Knowledge to the Field," was held in the Emilio Sierra Baquero auditorium. The meeting focused on productivity parameters in the context of the Colombian post-conflict period, aiming to provide a true and balanced view of the application of knowledge to the field as a strategy for the optimal management of productive livestock and agricultural agroecosystems, taking into account global realities.
EXPOEDUCACIÓN 2017 – ENTREPRENEURS OF THE FUTURE, achieved the articulation of efforts, resources and actions between 14 official educational institutions and 35 private institutions that were present at this event, where students from the municipality showed their programs and good educational practices and innovative initiatives that are currently being developed in each of the educational centers, presenting projects and research based on three lines of learning: science, technology and technique.
The event showcased classroom experiences related to coexistence, peaceful conflict resolution, and civic competencies, presented by teachers in the municipality who are innovating to build a peace-based education for the benefit of the community.
La Universidad Militar Nueva Granada otorgó el primer puesto en la II Jornada de Estudios Interdisciplinarios de Contabilidad a los estudiantes: Yenni Lorena Rubiano Medina, Edgar González Castelblanco y Diego Mauricio Hernández de la Universidad de Cundinamarca con la ponencia: “La Ocupación Laboral: Una necesidad de Análisis de la Educación Contable”.
