He started in the coffee business 18 years ago, participating in national competitions for the last 8. In 2016, he achieved third place nationally and first place in Cundinamarca in the specialty coffee category. He is an active member of the municipal committee, and his company, El Diamante farm, is located in the Bratan district, near Fusagasugá.
The coffee is characterized by its medium-high acidity, with notes of caramel and panela, and a medium body.
He cultivates 8,000 plants of the Tabi Castilla variety, aged 8, 5 and 4 years.
