Healthy Wellness Programs
Spaces designed to strengthen, impact, improve and transform the quality of life and behaviors related to the physical, mental and emotional health of the entire university community.
You will find guidance and support in the following programs:
Sexual and reproductive health program: A space for guidance, listening, and information. Aimed at the entire university community, it offers experiences that promote self-care and responsible, autonomous behavior through:
- Awareness days on the care and prevention of sexually transmitted diseases and infections.
- Preventive days for HIV and Syphilis testing.
- Early detection tests, cytology and prostate antigen tests.
- Distribution of condoms and guidance to prevent unwanted pregnancies and STIs.
Musculoskeletal program: Focused on preventing musculoskeletal disorders or diseases through experiences such as:
- Active breaks.
- Rumba therapies.
- Muscle strengthening exercises.
Visual health and hearing hygiene program: Focused on preventing eye strain, visual fatigue, and hearing impairments caused by the constant use of screens, headphones, and environments where increased or excessive noise is generated, through strategies such as:
- Visual screening days.
- Visual breaks.
- Preventive workshops with speech therapy professionals.
Healthy Habits and Lifestyles Program: A space focused on promoting healthy habits and lifestyles such as:
- Healthy eating.
- Physical activity.
- Good sleep habits.
- Prevention of cardiovascular diseases.
