Specialization Track:
This course is worth 10 academic credits and will include a variety of learning experiences through which students will develop professional competencies in mental health using a transdisciplinary approach, within the framework of a relational therapeutic model, and with the ability to demonstrate sensitivity, an inclusive attitude, and a psychosocial therapeutic approach toward communities.
Specialization Track:
It consists of 10 academic credits, which will feature diverse learning experiences; the emphasis on quality suggests a commitment to the continuous improvement of health processes and outcomes, which is essential for the sustainability and effectiveness of healthcare services. Innovation indicates that the program prepares professionals to adopt and manage changes that include new technologies and methodologies in healthcare. The combination of management, quality, and innovation suggests that the program is designed to develop leadership and management competencies, preparing graduates for high-responsibility roles in the health sector.
Mission: To train nurses in health care and life care, equipping them with the ability to manage and solve health problems affecting individuals, families, and community groups, within a translocal context, using a transdisciplinary approach and demonstrating social responsibility.

The University of Cundinamarca is a territorial-level public institution of higher education, created as a departmental educational project under the name Technical University Institute of Cundinamarca – ITUC by means of Ordinance number 045 of December 19, 1996, and which was recognized as a university by means of Resolution No. 19530 of December 30, 1992, by the Ministry of National Education.

Its creation dates back to 1975, when it began operations with the training of general nurses and nursing technologists; currently, it graduates nurses, as represented in the following timeline:
