From its inception, the Faculty planned to offer a Public Accounting program, hence its name: Faculty of Administrative, Economic, and Accounting Sciences. As of 2017, the Faculty offers the program at the Fusagasugá campus, the Ubaté branch, and the Facatativá and Chía extensions.
The program, which was developed in the city of Facatativá, was approved by the University's Governing Council through Agreement No. 018 of May 2, 2007, and modified by Academic Council Agreement No. 003 of July 2008, for a duration of nine (9) academic periods and a total of one hundred and fifty-five (155) academic credits. Activities began in the second academic period of 2008 with its first cohort of fifty-three (53) students in the evening session. The first graduating class, consisting of twenty-nine (29) new Certified Public Accountants, completed their studies in March 2013. As of the 2016 academic year, two hundred and forty-seven (247) professionals had graduated in seven (7) cohorts.
Through Resolution number 2941 of May 20, 2008, it obtained from the Ministry of National Education the qualified registration for a term of seven (7) years; through Resolution number 16447 of December 13, 2012, the development location (ALD) was extended to the municipality of Ubaté, and through Resolution 10860 of 2016, the development location (ALD) was extended to the municipality of Chía. In 2015, through Resolution 7450 of May 26, its qualified registration was renewed until May 25, 2022.
