What are the requirements to apply for course equivalency?

The requirements to apply for the validation of subjects are:

  • That the applicant is enrolled in one of the academic programs.
  • For external transfers, along with registration, you must submit a written request for validation, an original certificate of grades, and a certified photocopy of the thematic contents issued by the academic authority, addressed to the Corresponding Program Directorate.
  • For internal transfers, or admission to other programs, you must submit a written request for validation to the Program Directorate.
  • The objectives and content of the credits earned must be equivalent to those of the program to which the student is transferring. The number of hours and credits earned will be used as a reference to determine equivalencies.
  • The faculty council will be in charge of carrying out the homologations and will have five business days for its processing, after which it will notify its decision to the Admissions and Registration office.
  • Each core to be certified must be approved with a rating equal to or greater than 3.5.
