Through Agreement No. 000008, the Higher Council creates the Student Dialogue and Training Encounters in order to contribute to continuous institutional improvement.
The Higher Council of the University of Cundinamarca, through Agreement No. 000008, established dialogue and training sessions with students in each academic program of the Institution. This provision, which fosters ongoing spaces for dialogue and the exchange of ideas with the student community on relevant topics concerning the Institution, the faculty, and the program, will contribute to the continuous improvement of our processes.
The operation of these Dialogue and Training Meetings will be led by the program coordinator and/or director, who will preside over each meeting. Likewise, one student from each program will volunteer to act as secretary. In special cases, the Faculty Council will invite the dean when it deems it appropriate.
These sessions will be held every two months, four times a year, meaning two per semester. In the first semester, they will take place during the first week of March and May. In the second semester, they will be held during the first week of September and November.
Furthermore, the Institutional Planning Directorate will be responsible for preparing the schedule for these meetings, as well as its publication on the website, which will be done annually in February.
The topics to be addressed in the dialogic and formative meetings will be institutional, academic, and faculty-related, as well as student proposals.
It is worth noting that each meeting will be documented in the minutes, which record the agenda, attendees, a summary of the topics discussed at the meeting, student proposals, and the corresponding improvement plan, if applicable.
