About Academic Mobility
Services
For this type of scholarship, the following exchange options are available: international academic exchange semester, dual or second degree program, and international internship. Students accepted into the outbound mobility scholarship program will receive a total amount equivalent to three (3) SMMLV, which will be disbursed by the University of Cundinamarca during the exchange period. Additionally, meals and lodging will be provided by the foreign university where the exchange takes place. During the exchange semester, students from the University of Cundinamarca may take one or two academic terms in programs related to their field of study at a foreign institution of higher education with a valid agreement. The courses taken will be recognized, if passed, as part of the academic program’s learning path, subject to review and approval by the curriculum committee. The student must have completed and passed at least 50% of the academic credits required by the program in which they are enrolled. Note: In the case of the exchange semester, credit recognition will be carried out with the endorsement of the Faculty Council, subject to prior approval by the Multidimensional Learning Field Coordination Office.
Students selected for the outbound mobility scholarship program under this category will receive a total amount equivalent to six (6) SMMLV, which will be disbursed by UCundinamarca during the course of their internship. This program is intended solely for international internships as part of a degree program. UCundinamarca students may participate in an international internship to apply the knowledge and skills acquired during their education and learning process. Internships may be completed at foreign institutions of higher education provided there is a valid agreement between the institutions. The student must have completed and passed at least 90% of the academic credits in the learning pathway of the program in which they are enrolled. If students take thematic modules or learning fields as part of the internship, under no circumstances will the credits be recognized toward their academic program upon their return to the University of Cundinamarca.
National students have the opportunity to apply to the volunteering strategy as an outbound academic mobility modality and, if the scholarship is approved, they will receive the total sum equivalent to three (3) monthly legal minimum wages (SMMLV) to support their stay of a minimum of two (2) weeks and a maximum of four (4) weeks in the international community. The calls for applications will be managed during inter-semester periods.
It is a scholarship modality presented within the framework of an academic mission lasting from a minimum of 10 to 15 days in the international community, exclusively with universities that have a current agreement promoted by the "Dialogando con el Mundo" (Conversing with the World) office. The outputs for this call for international mobility under the Ambassador Professor program contribute to the processes of the institutional mission functions of the University of Cundinamarca. Academic outputs are understood as those aimed at giving visibility to the practices of the University of Cundinamarca professor and the dialogue of knowledge with the international community, serving as CTeI (Science, Technology, and Innovation), Minciencias, ISU, and Dialogando con el Mundo benchmarks.
